Hobbs State Park Eagle Watch Tours Begin

Eagle watching season has began on Beaver Lake and runs through February.  Hobbs State Park volunteers and Conservation Area personnel will begin Eagle Watching cruises on a 28-foot pontoon boat.

The 1 1/2 hour crusies begin at Rocky Branch Marina and begin at 3:00 p.m.

According to park officials, 59 Eagles were seen on these tours in November, and the season has just begun.

Dates for the remaining tours are as follows:

December 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 23, 26, 30

January 1, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30

February 3, 5, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 27
